- A shared room if you travel solo. You’ll see exactly who’s confirmed in it before you pay a cent. It’s how a boat full of strangers turns into a table full of friends by day three.

If you’re allergic to resort chains and lobby wifi, you’re already home. If you need 5-star AC, total privacy and guaranteed sun, there are excellent hotels in El Nido town that aren’t us. No hard feelings.

Instead, we track local marine forecasts closely and adapt: we place our two sea days on the absolute best weather windows so you get calm, clear waters, and we shuffle our land expeditions and relaxation days intelligently around them.

Bungalows, Beds, and Radical Transparency
We sell travel spots, not hotel suites. Here’s the honest picture of how sleeping arrangements work, including the parts that aren’t for everyone.
We value your sleep as much as you do. Every single bed on our property is a full 2 meters long and fitted with a premium mattress from the German brand Emma, so you actually rest after a full day of exploring. No generic hostel bedding.
Our bathrooms follow a strict privacy rule: every bathroom is shared by zone — one for the whole Palmscape bungalow, one for the whole Jungle Haven bungalow — and used strictly by turn. When you step inside the shower and toilet, that space is 100% yours: no shared stalls, no parallel use, nobody walks in on you.
Founding rate = the Aug 22–29 Founding Group (see above). Standard rate = our Sept 5–12 departure.
Option 1: Individual Single Bed (Bunk Spot) · €845 founding / €910 standard
Inside our open-plan “Palmscape” bungalow: your own 2-meter single bunk with its own mosquito net. Palmscape’s bathroom is shared with the rest of the bungalow, used strictly by turn — but the shower and toilet are 100% yours, door closed, while you’re inside. Rooms are mixed by default, and we assign them in a set order (see below), so the solo room can end up single-gender. Either way, you’ll see exactly who’s confirmed in your room before you pay a cent. If the mix isn’t for you, you don’t pay: you get first priority for the next departure that fits.
Option 2: A Queen Double Bed for Two · €765 founding / €820 standard (per person)
Strictly for couples or two close friends booking together. Each pair shares their own bed; you’ll never be assigned to share a double bed with a stranger, under any circumstance. Your bed is either in “Palmscape” (which also holds the 4 solo bunks) or in the “Jungle Haven” bungalow (2 Queen beds).
Option 3: The Private Room (King Bed) · €945 founding / €1,015 standard (per person)
A dedicated private room with one King-size bed: a door to close when the day is done. Like every room here, it shares its bathroom — with Jungle Haven’s two-queen room — used strictly by turn: nobody else is ever in there with you. There’s exactly one private room per departure, first come, first served.
Couples get priority for Jungle Haven, our bungalow with two double beds. The double bed inside Palmscape, the open room with the four solo bunks, is held preferentially for two friends who match the gender of the solo travelers already booked there. That means the whole open room can end up single-gender: say, four solo women in the bunks plus two friends sharing the double. We won’t promise a specific mix before real people book. But you’ll always see exactly who’s confirmed in your room before you pay a cent, and if the mix isn’t for you, you don’t pay: you get first priority for the next departure that fits.

What If It Rains? (Smart Local Planning)
July and August are “green season” in Palawan. Tropical weather is dynamic: it can rain unexpectedly, and we’ll never insult your intelligence by promising non-stop cloudless skies.
Here’s why our 8-day layout protects your week anyway: only two specific days are sea-dependent (the Bacuit Bay and Malampaya Sound boat tours). The other core days happen on land: two full overland expedition days and two slow living and village days, and those run beautifully rain or shine.
Instead of locking you into a blind, rigid schedule, our family monitors maritime and radar forecasts in real time. If sea conditions look sub-optimal on a Tuesday, we simply rearrange the puzzle: land expeditions or slow days move forward, and the boats sail on the best, safest weather windows of the week.
In the rare event that a sea excursion proves completely impossible for your entire 8-day stay, and the group doesn’t want the land alternative, we refund the fixed, published value of that specific tour. You only pay for the adventures you actually live.
Is It Worth €765?
A hostel bed in El Nido town is cheaper. But a hostel bed is just a mattress in a noisy room, leaving you to fight the tourist market line by line. By the time you add commercial boat tours, daily van hires, three real meals a day, entry fees and airport transfers, the math catches up, and you’ve spent your vacation managing logistics.
Our week bundles everything upfront: 7 nights of beachfront lodging, three home-cooked meals a day, small-boat island hopping away from the crowds, the overland expedition days, and round-trip airport transfers. No surprise fees, no logistics to solve, and a real local family hosting you throughout.
The only things you arrange yourself are your flights to Puerto Princesa and your mandatory travel insurance with cancellation cover. (We’ll gladly help you map flight routes and insurance options on WhatsApp before you buy anything.) From the second you land, your wallet can stay in your pocket.

- Secure with a deposit. Once you’re 100% happy with the room and the dates, we send a written booking contract (including the mandatory travel-insurance requirement) together with our official business permit. You secure your spot with a 35% deposit via bank transfer or Wise; the remaining 65% is due 30 days before departure. Flights and travel insurance are always arranged by you.

If a typhoon grounds flights, a regional conflict shuts down travel, or something else outside anyone’s control makes the trip impossible, we genuinely can’t absorb that cost — so we ask you to protect yourself, the same way we’d want to be protected. Our cancellation policy only covers what’s actually our responsibility; everything caused by outside events is exactly what your insurance is for.
